05+ dash/wiring into a '99 (fummins)

i got a wiring nightmear going on in my truck, (driver window switchwont work, got power to switch, swapped switch, gem,motors good ect...) so rather then tearing everything apart to jsut trace wires, what would it take to upgraded to the newer style dash and wiring it all up to work? my truck has a 12v swapped in so i dont need any of the dash to report to the computer, other then the usual fuel gauge,oil psi,water temp,volts and speedo.

well i know that much, but will it all pretty much plug and play or will i have to sit and chase wires/cut/solder them all together?

No disrespect here, but if you cannot figure out how to make a window motor work...this is not a job you should try and take on.

Again, not trying to be a dik....just want to give you fair warning.

No offense taken, I can go through it and find which wire is bad but I figured if I have the whole dash torn apart and am tracing pretty much every wire I might as well upgrade to something more nice. The worst part is, the trucks and old fleet/construction truck so theirs about 20 billion wires and relays as well as old tapps & butt splices that go no where.
