I agree, but these billys around here think that bully dog is where its at. And if you have "the banks on it" you are really badass. The truck originally came in here for a CEL. DTC was something with the EGR throttle. This truck doesnt even have an EGR throttle. I took out the bully dog and reflashed the PCM with Ford's latest. Got rid of the EGR throttle code but the transmission side of the PCM died. I put another PCM on it and everything is good, but he wanted me to put the dog back on it. It wouldnt load so dog tech support said that it needed an update to work with the new PCM software. Spent an hour and a half trying to get the dog to update. No luck. Said they were sending a new SD card. Now customer blames me for screwing up his dog and his pcm. He says, "All I know is that thar chip was workin' 'till you got ahold of it. Alls it was that lil 'ol light was on."
