08- up rear cover

I am putting an 08 rear cover on my truck and was wondering what amount of fluid I will need? Does the cover change the amount or do I just use the :ford: recommended amount?

The 08 cover shouldnt significantly change the fluid capacity, itll be whatever ford recommends.

I would still fill it to the fluid check hole. That should be adequate.

It is the same amount I believe. It has been a while since I did mine, but I do remember I did not have to buy any extra fluid beyond the spec in my owners manual.

Here is a pic of mine when I did it. One of the best looking, most inexpensive mods I have done.

No change in the amount if bottles you have to buy. May be a slight change in capicity but just a little more used out of the same bottle you will have left over in the end
