15 6.7 or buy 14 and install 15 turbo

lets hear some opinions... Should a guy buy a 14 with less then 20k and install the turbo and piping for the 15 turbo. or just buy a 15. Differnce in price about 10k. Is there that much difference between the two?

I'd probably buy the 15 also. If the 14 was going to come with any kind of warranty you'd risk voiding it changing the turbo.

Ya i was thinking about the warranty thing. maybe i should just by a 12 cause I'm sure they'd void my warranty with all the mods I'm sure ill end up doing anyways!

If it was me I would do a 13 or 14 and do the turbo and such. Way more fun that way.

Do a 12 it seems like the 11-12 computers are more forgiving when it comes to adding parts and not throwing codes

11-12 will allow you more range with the veins in the turbo.

Seams like the 11-14 trannys are holding up a little better than 15 to.

I lost my warranty with about 3500 miles so as long as you're not concerned too much with it, get the new one. You can always start out stock and if you want more, give it more. You could also throw that 10k difference at your 14 and be just as happy too though? Decisions decisions..........

Exactly , but good news is I found a used 15, for almost the same price and miles as the 14 so I guess that just made it easy!
