We arnt very far into this project but far enough I thought I could start a build thread to post updates and get conversation going on it. Some of you may know we sold the ranger as a roller. Decided we should keep the ranger a 6.0 because of its history rather than pretty much have to redo everything to change it over to a 6.7 I've been wanting to do something with the 6.7 because I love the platform and think it has a lot of potential. And love bump side ford trucks so went out to our bone yard and picked out the best one. It's pretty much complete but has the best cab. It's a 1970 f-250 (we are using 69 metal grill so I'm calling it a 69 lol) My dad bought it from one of our neighbors way back I dont know when. Funny story about the truck the previous owner was a Hereford breeder and hauled a bull from Oklahoma to California in the back of the truck. I grew up driving it around the ranch and feeding cattle with it as a kid so its cool being able to do something cool with it. Chassis is going to be NHRDA prostreet legal cert to 7.99. Cab shell will be the only steel left on it. Trying to get it as light as possible and then hang weight to make 4500 lbs. Thinking about going big single on the motor but we are pretty far from that at this point. So far with have a complete 6.7 to start with and a BTS comp 4r. Wanting to run standalone aftermarket PCM once they get Piezo control. Also pick up some weld racing beadlocks off of Ryan Milliken's old truck. here is my inspiration
