Why are there so many different options. I see there is a 200amp single. A 125amp single. And then a dual alternator set up that is available which Im not even sure what amp alternators go on it. If I have a 200 amp alternator, will running a 125 or 120 amp alternator cause me problems.

Basically Im asking this because I bought a dual injection pump kit, which runs the injection pump in the primary alternator location, and limits me to running an alternator in the secondary location. I was told the primary alternator will not bolt up to the secondary location. So now this has me worried. Will a secondary amp which is only 120amps cause me problems if I run it by itself? Is it true that a primary alternator wont bolt onto the secondary location? Is there anyone that makes a higher amp secondary alternator?

The primary wont bolt to the secondary alternator position, I'd just get 150 amp secondary, and if you only have a single alternator from the factory it should plug right in and shouldn't have any problems.

Powerbastards has a 220amp high output available and it is a 4g case , for 379, I do like the prices on the link you sent me, can't recall the company name right now but super reasonable and a higher output available!! So may go that route, with the 250amp option

Lubeowner has told me multiple times that the factory 120 amp is sufficient enough, and that they have trucks with upwards of 80k on them without issues. Just for your guys information, in case you want to just try the 120 amp. On sunrisefordparts the 120 amp is like 250-260. For the extra hundred I may just buy the 220 amp one
