Any of you from PSN will remember Ive been fighting issues on and off. Now I have a minor miss that only really happens when Im really working it or trying to get up to speed. No check engine light, oil has 2300 mile on it and is in the range. When it starts it after I let out of the throttle the little knock Ive had gets louder and when its running like a top it darn near goes away. I keep thinking its the ipr or injectors, but dont want to go dropping the $$ on either unless I know for sure. Also when I start it up no matter what the temp is out, Ive been getting white smoke for a few minutes. So I know something is up, just dont know what it is. Please help!!!!!

You should do a cylinder contribution test. I would bet you have an injector problem.

Ya I need to get down to my buddys shop and run the tests. If it is an injector Ill be willing to bet its #3, a while back i had a mechanics stethoscope on it and it had extra sounds coming out. Just trying to get ideas since I hate bugging my buddy to scan it, just wanna do it in one shot.

Need to use a computer do some tests on it. With out doing that I could put causes on a dart board and start throwing darts. Which may or may not end up being the problem.

i would say you have an injector on the way out, or a bad uvch. a power balance test will tell you which one injector is going out.

Well for me the injectors are all passing the tests, but I used a mechanics stethoscope cause I had an annoying injector knock that sounded just like #8 cackle. Problem is its on #3 instead of #8, not to mention I listened to the injectors them selves and #3 has a few extra sounds.
