I am getting parts together to do an 07 front axle swap with coil spring conversion. I have found bits of info here and there but there are a few things I would like to know before I get started;

Will 17x9 XD Addicts clear the front brakes -12mm offset?
Do you need to install an 05 Master cylinder as well?
I am planing on keeping my current drop pitman arm, what is the taper of 05 draglink?
Will 05+ extended brake lines connect to my 02 hardlines?

I have on 06 truck that was burnt that I will be getting the radius arm mounts and coil spring buckets from. I have an 8" 4 link with dual shock hoops and remote resevoir shocks I will be installing at the same time. I 'm not sure how much lift I currently have but it is 6-8". I will level the back when the front is done. Is there anything I am missing? I will have a complete axle with brakes and steering linkages. I already have the matching rear diff installed.

Im not sure here but i thin the pitman arm is different. And also your wheels will work fine and you wont need the master cylinder

I have read you can use the older pitman arm and re-taper for the bigger 05 draglink. I'm going to keep my steering box from 02.

Will I be able to use any of my existing steering linkage? I just re-did my whole front end, ball joints, u joints, tie rod and drag link and Warn premium hubs.

I think the balljoints and maybe U joints are the same. All of the steering linkage is different.

Make sure you check with someone who sells the wheels because I have been told that there are some 17 inch wheels that do not fit over the calipers.

I have not switched master cylinders.

The steel lines need to be bent to match up to the new location. Which is what I did.
