2002 fuel pump issues ?

Can't get my fuel pump to come on only have 2vdc to the inertia switch and can't find the full pump relay I don't have the owners manual any help would be great.. Thanks

Not sure on the 2002, but on my 1999, if you pull the radio out and look at the spot where the floorboard meets the firewall, you will see a box. If you remove the cover of that box, there are three of four relays behind there. The fuel pump relays is one of those.

If you are only getting 2V, the pump is bad. My pump stopped working and I was getting low voltage at the pump. I chased relays and wires for two days. Finally gave up, bought a new pump and everything was fine.

Run a wire (pos and neg) directly to your fuel pump ftom the battery with a toggle switch inline. If the fuel pump works then, its a bad relay or wiring. If it still does not work or work properly, its a bad pump. That's what I did to mine after trying to chase down some phantom bad rełay, switch or wire for two days.

My low voltage was at the fuel pump. I never checked the inertia switch.
