My truck has had the 1 1/2" levelling kit....and removed due to being too harsh.

Then I added bags in the front, because the front sat so low...

Currently, they need to be filled to 40 psi so the tires, 325/60/18, won't rub too much...they rub...but not much..

So after having bags in for gawd know how many years, the front tires have worn holes through the plastic fender wells on both sides.

I don't wanna fill the bags any more, as the ride is terribly ruff.

What lift can be added that will raise the front about 2-3" and be a comfortable ride?

This thing NEVER goes off road, so I would like "Cadillac" smooth.

Thanks.

3.5 hanger lift, excursion springs and maybe a 1" block.

That would probably ride really good if you want to experiment.

Boom! What she said^^^

the new excursions springs ride better and have a better design. Basically the first excursion springs were an inverted arch. the new ones have a gap between the leafs and are a slipper spring type. major difference in ride characteristics. also max load was 4400 so a softer spring from the get go.

Probably going to be doing the ex springs and 1" block on mine to soften things up.

Why the 1" block? Ivan needs to do it because he runs bigger rubber, do you have clearance issues too?

Thank you.
I'm gonna look into them!

You are welcome! I had v-code springs with the hangers and thought it rode well for a leaf spring truck. I don't think I would introduce the excursion springs into the mix because it would create another variable.
Honestly, I would probably pick Trevor's brain and have him set you up with the hanger/shackle lift and some shocks to match. You may want to figure out if you are staying with your current springs or swapping to something different first though. If you keep your factory springs, you would only need to figure out how much lift you want.
Your vin tag on the door should tell you which spring you have or you can Google the numbers stamped onto the actual spring.

Excursion springs will drop it around an inch. I don't think I can afford to go that much lower. Plus I'm running out of room to drop the rear anymore.

Now that I think about it I have some 1"drop shackles at the house. She'd be lowwww.

Save urself tons of money and buy f450 springs... best I did for my truck (04).. 2"lift up front as a result from them and the ride is very smooth now. Just a simple swap out. It made my last setup (2.5" ebay special) feel like a hard tail bicycle going over bumps
