I am looking for input on rebuilding my truck right for HP and Daily driving. I have blown the gasket and have the cab off....where to go from here. I currently have EGR delete, APR studs 4" exhaust and a H&S mini Max. I am looking to upgrade the Cooler and turbo to a stage 1. this is my first diesel and want to spend my money right. I have a 12" lift and currently running 39.5's as well my budget is 8k.....

Billet wheel powermax from a vendor
175/75 injectors also from vendor
Also a reg return and maybe go ahead and do an upgraded hpop then run some bigger sticks

Some gears would be nice too. I'd be willing to bet with above mods your truck will not run any stronger than a tune only truck.

My measly 0.02$
Fleece cheeta turbo,either 190/100 or 175/100's of your choice. Reg return, BPD oil cooler, ported intake, gears. Hpop. 8k$ gone but the happiness will return when you drive it. That is if the other stuff you mentioned is not part of the 8k$ budget. And you do the work your self.

^ Almost exactly what I said to myself as I read this. Only changes i'd make is a 75% nozzle on a 190cc injector and absolutely a set of gauges that monitor eeeeverything. I'd probably also throw an airdog on it just because the idea of clean, air-free fuel to the injectors eases my mind.

P.S. Doing a search for this will net you all sorts of useful info on a solid build.
