First off thank you everybody for the positive feed back. Its still a work in progress. I left out the motor mods. So for I have studded and deleted it and put a set of 205/75 Inj's in it. Next is a grinder then a mixer and some custom tunning to bring it all together. Shooting for 600 - 650 on motor. Not too bad. I ended up using C channel that way I could use factory style hardware. The biggest headache was compensating for the difference in the Straight C&C frame and the bed being made for a bent pickup frame. I'm wanting to do some harley headlights and some kind of all black mesh grill. I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with the trim piece on top of the bumper because i want to vinyl wrap the whole truck in a flat color with my shop name where it is now with the phone number and website. So there is no since in color matching it yet. Unless you were talking about ride height... if that's the case see below lol Good eye! lol If you put a tape measure on the wheel wells the front is 3/4" higher then the back and it drives me nuts! The problem is now that the axle is flipped there really is no real easy way to pick the rear end up some. ( Other then more leaf springs = worse ride. so no. Or flipping the rear shackle mount which is supposed to give 2 inches higher. But the point is for it to be slammed lol) So i'm wanting to drop the front about 1 1/2" and i'd like to do it with softer factory springs. Problem is i'm having a tough time figuring out what spring code i need. A local drive shaft shop cut the ends out of the factory shaft and made me a one piece DS the correct length. 4X4 would be nice sometimes but the whole idea of this thing was to have something that set real low and was easier to get in and out of and load parts and whatnot in the bed since it is currently my shop truck. I would love for it to one day be 4 linked and tubed to make a light drag truck.
