Will the bedsides from a 2011 fit on a 2005? Was thinking about some fiberglass fenders for the truck but they only have the rears I want for the 2011 and up.

I'm sure you already know this, but the body lines are different on the '11's around the wheel well. I don't know if a newer bedside will fit on an older box or not though

I haven't did that swap, but I have studied both beds close together. Looks like they are almost identical other then just the lines on the '11. I can't see it being a problem, but with bed sides as expensive as they are would have to be cheaper to find a take off '11 bed. JMO.

From what I've seen, the only differences are the flare style and the gas cap. You'd have a hole where the urea is supposed to go.

This is the only difference. Have put several on at the shop, and they go right on no problems.

sent from the shop making things fly.....

It's not as bad as you would think.

Ok, the beds are the same internally, the tail lights will inter change as will the gates. All Ford did was re design the bed sides, the URE fill has its own hole , looks like a gas filler just smaller, if you dont want the hole, you can buy a rubber plug that goes in its place. Not all SD's have Diesels in them. My boss N I just finished a 2011, same configuration as mine. I really like the truck, The dulley's I think look like Dog doo doo. Looks like a remake of the old Dodge from 93 back. Unless I tell you about the bed and the difference, most people don't notice it. I agree with Elmo, the lines could be a bit different, but its still a nice truck.
