2011 F-450 Value?

I don't know a whole lot about 6.7's, but my dad has a possibility of getting a good deal on a 2011 F-450 King Ranch. It has around 76,000 on it. It was owned by a farmer and definitely worked. Looks good, not flawless of course, but not trashed either.

What would you say a truck in this condition is worth? What are some of the things he should look out for?

Blue Book puts it around $38k-$40k. Sound about right?

That doesn't sound to far off. I would try to shoot a littler lower than that just because I am cheap though LOL

Well, he just put a bunch of money into his 2003 450. I told him unless he gets a steal on it not to worry. It's an auction though, so you never know.

How do the 450's run compared to the 350's? Are the 450's detuned a little from the factory?

I don't know about the 450s, but our 550s at work at tuned all the way back to 300hp. 2013 6.7s

I think it's the same as long as it's a pick up not a c&c model.

Only cab & chassis trucks were detuned and had a different turbocharger

Yes that explains it. Ours are C&C. Idling, they sound absolutely terrible, like there are knocking and rattling apart something fierce, and are pretty gutless.
