Looking to getting into the used 6.7 Market Found a really good deal on a f350 SCSB XL 4x4. To my surprise the truck doesn't have power windows/locks. (I thought all base vehicles had that from 2011+) Is anyone aware of the best way to go about adding these ? are the harnesses in place ? can a guy get a factory ford kit or go aftermarket?

Alot of the items I see online are "universal" I'd rather go with something specific.

Thanks in advance sorry for such a boring questions :(:flush:

adding power windows and locks with Ford parts is not practical and likely has never been done due to the cost. On top of the door parts it would require different harnesses, replacing modules and junctions boxes and reflashing all of them to a different VIN that would have it.

The "power equipment group" package for the XL gives you power windows, power locks, PATS security, Key FOBs and more, so the whole electrical system has a lot more to it.

doing the aftermarket universal ones are really a "hack job" in my opinion.

stock switches are just low current "request signals" now, they will burn up with a load on them. switches from a 2010 or early build 2011 might work with some creative wiring.
