i got a new box, and discovered a rust hole under the chrome on my front fender. so, its either a new fender and paint that, or just do a 2013 frond end. kind of my excuse at least haha. im just wondering where people are buying these parts or if i can buy a complete kit from somewhere or do i just search craigslist for stuff every day? also wondering if there is anything odd that has to be done. from what i would think it would be fenders, hood, grill, headlights and bumper...anything else?

IIRC you're going to have to heavily modify the wiper cowl on the truck to accept the new parts and a few other cowl pieces. Completely doable, but not simply a bolt on modification. Some Fab work is going to be required.

im fine with that to an extent. i know i have to notch a little bit of the frame for the bumper and make some braces for the fenders, but thats all fine. could i just put a 2011+ wiper cowl on it?

Exactly, that's the hardest part of the whole swap is getting the cowl to fit and look correct. Striker has a whole drop in fiberglass cowl that's is pretty neat.
