There is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory journal bearings. Chamfering them is not necessary and we haven't seen any reason to do it nor any gains that could have came from them. The factory thrust is completely adequate for the stock turbine and up to our 64mm compressor wheel. We have thousands upon thousands of miles on several different variations now to prove it. The factory 2015 has more surface area on the thrust than a s366. The big custom turbine/shaft and larger 68mm compressor will come with a 360* thrust. It is needed for that large of a turbine.
