Im not sure that you can get the updated file by just running the updater to get it work with your 2016. You have to start a ticket with tech support. They have their engineering specifically look at your individual truck/CTS2 and get it so it can at least communicate with some basic parameters for the time being. They said itll probably be by April when full compatibility is available for the 2016s. Also, you can still monitor some PIDs, but boost, trans temp, or rail pressure are not on the list.
