Hay there guys I currently have 275/65/20 Bridgestone Dueler AT 2 Tires and I am looking at getting the Toyo Open Country AT II in a 35/12.5/20 and was wondering if I would see a good loss in fuel milage or not? I would love to have a little bit bigger tire, but just dont want to kill the mileage. Thanks guys.

The reason that I was wondering is that the stock size tires is 57lbs and the 35/12.5/20 is 79 lbs. Thats more rolling mass to start and keep rolling. I am just curious.

the 35's should only be approx. 10lbs more per depending on which ones you choose I guess.

Different truck different tires, but I went from a 285/65 nitto a/t to a 285/65 nitto trail grappler and lost almost 2mpg (1.8ish) on the freeway. Same size tire, just heavier and more aggressive tread. I didn't think it would matter much, but it sure has.

Height wouldnt really be the issue, your adding a couple inches of width, adding more resistance, plus weight. I bet you lose 2 mpg
