Just seeing how many people are running the 369sxe on their 6.0. Obviously they are a new turbo, but we are trying to figure out their reliability on them. Trying to figure out if it would be worth trying one paired up with a set of 225/75 injectors or going to a s400 chassis turbo. Thanks for the input

Yeah I had saw that a bit ago, with the 1 failure. That was kinda my wondering, if that early failure was just a fluke or if anyone else is having issues. Spoke with Charlie one of the last times and he was down at the shop, and his thought was a 300 chassis with that large of a compressor size would have issues. I guess only time will tell lol

It's not a miracle charger. If you abuse it it won't last.

Still convinced Adrien's was a fluke. It didn't last even what 1000 miles? and he doesn't even have that much fuel.
I agree. But it's a 300 frame and some morons still honestly believe it will outflow a 472....

It's going to be a good charger for 300 frame trucks but not a substitute. Nawww mean dawg?

Made it to the track this weekend for the first time with a s369, 210/100 injectors. Ran a 12.5 till I started losing high pressure oil, but it doesn't clean those injectors up all the way and still runs pretty hot. I'm much happier with it daily driving then the old s366 I was running though

I saw more than a few failures from the 362FMW's where people didn't bother with the 360* thrust bearing upgrade. Same with a BUNCH of 366's.

I flogged my 371 and it never gave me issues, only BW 300 series turbos or even 400 series turbos I've seen fail due to Manufacturing defects is really really low. Most of the time no one breaks the turbos in ( 1500 miles is what I've been doing ) or even pre-lubes them, just bolt on and dog the chit out of it. Or have other under lying issues that take them out, or just piss poor maintenance.

I have sold 2 so far but neither had commented on how well they have one. One guy bought one as a starter turbo on a manual truck but I'm sure he will go smaller here soon

he does spray his on a non gated system.

Not sure if it has an effect or not

yeah but as far as I know he didn't spray that 369 ever. Or did he? I mean yeah if he was spraying the balls off of it with no gate then it wouldn't have been much of a surprise to kill it that fast.

There's no reason why an s369 won't be a reliable as your 366 has been.

I sprayed my s366 with no gate and it was fine, just gotta keep an eye on drive pressure.

I agree. I think I've been lucky but who knows. Really going to put it to the test with the 275s.

Are you going to send it out to be rebuilt? May as well while parts of it are salvageable
Not really sure yet. I want a 472 but at the same time I might just rebuild this charger, gate it and see if it can get me to mid 11s.

I'm gating my 369 at 85psi drive.
No issues yet.
I actually really like this turbo.
Gonna swap out the 13cm housing for the T4 x .90AR just to see how it reacts.
