38r wastegate adjustment?

I know this has been gone over before but my phone isn't letting me search on here for some reason. I put a 38r on my tow pig with 160/80s. It's a 6sp so I know its a little different spooling up. My question is how far do turn the rod in to raise boost into the 35-38psi range? Only makes 24psi now and that's with it floored in a higher tune. The spool isn't great either. So I assume my wastegate is starting to open pretty early. Thanks for the help.

I ran it down until there was only about an inch of threads showing
That gave me a little over 30psi on stock injectors
