I'm about to do full turbo back exhaust on my truck and I'm wondering if it really makes that big of difference going from 4" to 5". My end goals are for around 550rwhp. Should I spend the extra and go for 5 or is 4 plenty?

the 5 inch looks and sounds better, temp wise you wont notice a difference, but to me the sound and looks was worth it.

I personally loved my 5" but it just got annoying, make sure you order a muffler...I just ditched mine and will be ordering a 4" dual exhaust in the morning :) pretty damn excited for that actually.

oh my kid sleeps great in the truck, I just pulled a trailer one time with it for 1200 miles and absolutely wanted to stab myself for not getting a muffler.....but I just ditched mine and bought 4" duals from Eric at PTP for 320 shipped!!!!

I have a 5" system on my truck and never ran it straight piped only with a muffler, but I don't have any trouble running down the road with it. No noticable noise till about 2300rpm when accelerating, otherwise I never hear my own exhaust. Over that it gets pretty stupid loud though, and I love the deep tone it has. Toyo MT's humming away might have a part to play in not hearing the exhaust but even when I had my terra grapplers on the truck I still never heard it when cruising around, or running down the highway at 2k rpm

dont get stainless its a waste of money that can be put towards something else. I have aluminized, and here in CT we get serious winter and it still looks great, holding up better than the stainless systems i've had on various vehicles over the years..
