4 wheel not locking in

a few weeks ago i went to the sand pit to mess around for a little bit. pull up to the sand, lock the Warn hubs in, turn knob to 4high, light comes on, 4low, reverse, drive, neutral, light comes on, audible knock sound is heard, pull into sand, dig holes with both rears while fronts do nothing, got pulled out(thankfully by another powerstroke) get back on the blacktop and try to spin tires, wont do it, now its in 4wheel, go back in the sand, working fine, smooth sailing, go back out this weekend to go wheeler riding, same thing, lock in hubs, 4high, 4low, knocks, pull in, 2 rears dig holes, stuck, go in and out of 2wheel, 4wheel multiple times but nothing happened, turn truck off, turned key to on but did not crank motor, went from 2wheel to 4 wheel and i could hear the module or whatever on the transfer case moving, front drive shaft spins but no tire spin, have warn hubs and they have been working for about 4 years and now there is nothing, please help because i cant live w/o 4wheel drive

Pop your warns out and check them. Mine grenaded the snap ring off the back and so it wouldn't lock in on the drivers side.

i had it push the snap ring out on both sides before and it was constantly trying to lock into 4wheel, cost me 2 axles and 2 hubs, but i will check this, hoping it wouldnt have to start, weekend project i guess
