467.7 Borgwarner setup Questions??

467.7 Bogwarner turbo and custom piping , can include tunes aswell . Lots of time and money in this setup . I ran this with a 15 CP4 and it should of been making close to 700 whp . Priories have changed and i want out of the big power game . Price includes 467.7 turbo with under 1,000 km and all the pipes needed

Thoughts on this setup anyone else running it?

Yah it is copied and pasted out of a for sale ad. The setup is for sale in my neck of the woods and is basically new, they figured with proper tuning it could push 650+ however buddy blew his bottom end up already and is claiming poor tuning which is possible. Now i'm hearing that setup is slower spooling and shouldn't be used without a built bottom end?

Tuning Goes a long way. Also your foot pedal goes a long way as well

I though that the greatest chance of bending rods was when you were running high boost very low in the rpm range? Like with a compound setup? Not sure why a slower spooling setup would be trouble. I'm sure if you push enough power thou or have crap tuning it would be possible.

15+ pump runs out of fuel around 650-660 area. Timing and boost down low will kill rods

yah I think that's what happened to buddy who ran that kit, but after looking into it a bit not the right setup for a guy looking for a reliable everyday kit. Slow spooling and more fuel than I want to give doesn't make it an ideal kit for me.

I would be leering of a kit not manufactured by a reputable company as well as tuning not done by someone that knows what they are doing.

700 on either an 11-14 or 15+ pump isn't going to happen. I would be impressed to see anything over 600 on a 15+ pump as it sits.

For what it's worth, we make decent hp on stock bottom ends on our own stuff as well as dozens and dozens of customers without any issues which is directly related to quality tuning.
