I have searched high and low, and seems all the pictures of the installs are gone.

anyone know where they went to? I figured it might be a sticky somewhere.

does it mount, fittings up or down?
front bumper or not
factory spot?
thanks

I have mine mounted fittings down to the back of the bumper. I have some custom made inverted flare to right angle hose barb fittings to keep it all tucked behind the bumper. There has been some discusion to fitting up to not create and air pocket. If you pull the bumper you will see the cooler is sized really nice to the back flange of the bumper. I thought I had photos up somewhere but they maybe have gone away with the webshots BS.

Hey guys when I had the E4 in my truck I did this mod and put a small fan behind it. Don't have pix of the fan (will get some next time bumper is off), as I still have the assembly (cooler and fan) on thinking I'll hook the ZF to it one day...... This cooler is off a SD V10 iirc, that I sourced from the wreckers.
So anyways I put some pix up in my sig link under Fluid Mods folder.

cheers,

jrc

I made mine by sweating a right angle hose barb to NPT adapter to a cut down and threaded inverted flair adapter. Here is a more direct link. I had forgetten about it but I found those fittings for him hunting around with google. Let me know how those work out. My current set up works fine but you have to have them sweated in the correct position for the hose routing.

Oh one other thought. I used the u shaped clip nuts on the bumper which makes it much easier to detach from the cooler from the bumper when needed.

They were just from the parts store or hardware store. They are in with the body bolts.

well tom, they worked well, except I did teflon tape on 1 and none on the other, and guess which on leaks!! gotta pull one off and redo it. I might order my bts valve body since I'll end up losing more fluid again, lol.
