First of all I really like your site, lots if great topics and knowledge in these forums.

After a couple hard, second gear, full throttle pulls I stopped at the bottom of the local sand mountain to talk to one of my buddies, and all the sudden my transmission decided to evacuate all the atf out of it. Not sure where it came out, but it all did. This was at night so I left there, next morning came back with a few gallons of oil, filled it up, and its working again. All the gears work but I can tell the TC is in no hurry to lock up, and when it shifts from first to second it chatters and slips really bad. Third, fourth, and reverse work fine no slipping at all.
Any chance that I can just Rebuild the tranny with clutches, seals, and new TC? or are my problems much more than that.

That will probably take care of it. It's possible that some of the hard parts are damaged, but they might not be. You have to tear it down to find out.
