5.4L Coil....HELP!!!

I have been reading that everyone is using 5.4L coils and removing the rear blocks for a better ride and to lower thier trucks.....So I went to pick some up at the Ford place. My question is what part number is everyone running.....

5C3Z-5310-FA Which is a 4800lb spring
5C3Z-5310-GA Which is a 4400lb spring

Currently I have a 5C3Z-5310-EA that is a 5200lb spring. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

OK got my springs in and went to get them put on......

NOW problem is U bolts dont have enough thread in them.....Tech says I have to get in shorter bolts....DID ANY ONE ELSE RUN INTO THIS????

Yeah you need shorter ubolts if you are lowering the rear...

You should never reuse ubolts anyways. You need shorter ubolts too.

You should be able to get them from a trailer shop, most custom build them.

That's what I like to hear, going to be dropping the block out of mine in a month or so! So I'm ASSuming that all I need to do is measure the current ones and get a set that is 2" shorter?

Yes sir custom built the parts manager knew a company that fixed me a set......will have them on and new springs Wednesday...I HOPE!!!

How much shorter do the u bolts have to be, Do you guys think that a set from a non 4x4 truck will work?

do the math.

how much shorter are you making the rear end? thats how much shorter they need to be.

or, put the entire kit on, put your existing bolts in, see how much to long they are, then go get them so you know for sure.

Does anyone have any pictures of their truck with the 4800lb in front and no rear block or fatty leaf in the rear,and same tire size all the way around?
