5 inch Exhaust installed

Just did the 5 inch exhaust on my truck, (no cat or muff)LOVE it and there is ZERO drone inside the cab. In fact you can barely tell there is exhaust on it until you hit that loud peddle! Well, put it this way, you can tell, but it's not obnoxious like everyone thinks UNTIL you mash on it!
Question though... seems I have lost a lot of boost. Now Im only getting 15-18 where before I was at least 20-25 psi at the same point and how I drive the truck..

Shouldn't really have lost boost... that's odd. Did you do anything else when you installed the exhaust? Still running a tune?

I figured it out.. well, I didn't, the great knowledge of the people on here figured it out.I broke the MAP sensor hose where it fits in the intake.. right back to 28 :toast:

My downpipe rubs the cab and omfg do I hate it! I'm going to have a muffler shop bend it just a tad bit.. other than that when I have the windows down it sounds amazing I love that part can't wait to get rid of the horrible vibration and drone!

Check your connections. Shouldn't have lost boost...got a leak....I'd guess down pipe,,,,

you wont lose boost if you have a post turbo leak, only pre

a 5 inch exhaust will wake a 6.0 for sure and also helps the mpg also.
