they tore my tranny apart. overdrive was toast. i thought it was direct that ussally goes out? so anyways its got all new solinoids, new rcd converter and a new upgraded pump. the upgrade in the pump has something to do with the relief port being reamed out from what they told me. I guess well see how long this one lasts lol

That would be a trans-go kit.

I'm in the same boat, had a local shop built mine up. Took it apart last Friday because its has been acting so goofy ( sticking in 4th, not down shifting past 4th, locking out 5th, free reving some times ), looking in the pan the fluid looked like candy red paint from all the metallic material. The pan had a graphite like paste of fiction and clutch material. Sucks but hope you have better luck with your new one. Raybestos blue clutches are the way to go no doubt. I won't be using these red eagles again.

trans go has two shift kits if you want to call it that. One is an upgraded snap ring, the other is a pressure relief that drils and taps the solenoid body to bleed off pressure. But those have been known to cause major issues. Its not needed at all if you have good trans tuning.
