6.0 intercooler fitment on 01 7.3?

ive herd that putting a 6.0 intercooler will fit in a 01 with a 7.3 and is an upgrade. does anybody have any input?

Just installed a rockauto one in March on my 2002 7.3. Easy as cake and I've yet to break 140 degrees loaded or unloaded... Lots of build threads out there on it.

My truck idles at 400º How do you not see 140º

Unless you are running a lot of horsepower through it, you will not see any improvement.

Do the inlet/outlet ports line up exactly the same as a stock intercooler? How much boost do they hold?

I've hit close to 50 psi with my 6.0 cooler.

I've pegged my 60lb gauge on my stock 7.3 inter cooler. Way more than once or twice.
