6.0 T4 oil drain

Installed my t4 uppipes this weekend, need to make a oil drain line. How are you guys doing the oil drain?

Probably a braided drain line. Some build it right into the pedestal.

What are you using? Something like Cutting Edge's pipes that have the mounts built in? Probably braided drain line would work.

That is correct, he quoted me ~185 for feed and return line setup.

Has anyone made their own by modifying the factory return tube?

You can't use the factory drain tube...it just slides in and is sealed with a o-ring. Where as a non vgt turbo drain line is bolted to the turbo and is sealed with a gasket. MPD also makes them for their non vgt setups.

You can modify the bottom side of the return tube..
but you can't use it as it is.

i use a modified stock drain.

Do you use a hard line adapter ?
