First off let me start out by saying I havent looked at this truck yet. I'm just relaying information and helping him diagnoise it over the phone and thru emails.

Trucks an 03 cc lb dw with about 140 miles on it that has been run some kind of WVO for the last 40k. I replaced the injectors and deleted the EGR about 2-3 yrs ago and he has had the head gaskets done not to long after that.

Recently the truck would idle like crab and die onces it warmed up. From what I could tell talking to him it seemed like High Pressure Oil. He went ahead and replace the ICP sensor and IPR. (love people that just throw parts at it). gets it back together and now it runs great put its got a constant grey/blackish smoke at all times.

He went and purchased an AE and these are the codes hes gotten.

He says everything plugged in and hooked up correctly and he has test his FICM and its has 48volts all the time.

Anyone have any great ideas on this one?

Thanks
Mike

Yeah I have some here that read 48V at all times but the truck will barely carry an idle and sounds like it's running on 4 cylinders.

I had two trucks and my brother has one and all three had bad FICM's at one point or another and they all tested good so I put no stock in the that test at all..

If I were going to buy another 6.0, one of the first things I would do is replace or repair the FICM if it was a factory unit..
