Guys I am going to return my 08 back to stock and get rid of it. Found a 2009 I cant pass on. I am going to pull the stock exhaust off my F250 and install it on my F350. Is there any advice any of you can give me on salvaging the stock DP with the cab on when I go to remove it?

For what its worth, I would just spend the $150 on a new down pipe and be done. I have never tried to save one yet, but I know that it can be done with some work.

Yeah I have never saved em either. Well not with the cab on anyhow. I will prolly just leave the flopro DP on and buy another one.

For what it's worth, just cut it. I tried removing the dp in one piece and it's a major PITA. It can be done, but it's so much easier to cut it and have it out in 5 minutes or less.

If you remove the trans crossmember and drop it down a bit it does come out. The earlier ones still suck but the 05 come out quite well.

remove the dipstick tube as well. After you remove the crossmember you pretty much of the cock the trans to get the dp out which personally I'm not a fan of. I believe Rudy's or SDP or someone had a write up a while back how to do it.
