How many of y'all here run upgraded turbos WITHOUT using a wastegate? Yes I know these trucks have high EBP but I will be running Elite's Tow Power Plus Compounds once I have the truck back, my piping is already sitting, waiting to go on and does not have provisions for a wastegate. I know VGT's usually cause BP, I'm just wondering if I can get away with no wastegate on this setup.

My truck would hit 70psi with my set up.

70-72 psi is all the factory sensor reads. Most are 72 but I've seen some only go to 70 and Max out.

i could max the ebp sensor at 73 psi with stock turbos, 71mm atmo/stock hp, 73mm atmo/stock hp.
i could also with 73/59 setup however i also added a cam at that time. when my wastegate malfunctioned and stayed shut, i had valve/piston contact.
i would recommend a gate. lots do it without and i know your valvetrain is upgraded as mine was. i wouldnt risk it.

Does Elites kit utilize the factory manifolds? If so, our kit will bolt right on the drivers side manifold. Highly recommended for any 6.4.
