Gross weight with 8 people, luggage, etc, was 17,500 lbs. The only place I had to watch egt was headed east up out of Albuquerque on I-40. Egt kept trying to creep past 1,300* in overdrive at 70 mph. Dropped it into direct and it never went past 1,050*. Nowhere else on the 1,500 mile trip home did I have to worry about egt. This was on the hottest tune I have for it. Spoolup was fine, no issues with being a smoky jerk either. I guess it’s obvious I like non-vgt. :D [/QUOTE]
