I have my 2008 Job 2 F-350 6.4 CCSB DRW It has 78,000 miles.
Here's a list of stuff that was replaced since I bought it brandnew
I bought it brand new from the local Ford dealership in AUG of 0'8
At 1,500 miles ford changed the the entire engine harness PCM/TCM.
At 2,500 miles replaced engine harness PCM/TCM again.
At 32,000 miles Serpentine belt shredded. (bad tensioner)
At 42,000 miles truck caught bad fuel ford replaced HPFP injectors lines fuel cooler fuel cooler rad etc.
At 52,000 miles PCM/TCM fried again replaced.
At 54,000 miles trans blew.
At 68,000 miles front driver side caliper locked up
Now the serpentine is shredding again. (78,000 miles)
Other than that truck been good oil filter (royal purple or Mobil syn) motorcraft filter and fuel filter changes every 5,000 miles.
this is the 2nd out of 3 6.4's i've owned .
How long will this engine last? i've seen 6.4's go to 125K and some don't last past 80K.
What's your guys opinion on this?
