Just got done doing an EGR/DPF delete on the truck and changing the radiator, drove it around today after tuning it and it was eating coolant fast. Now at idle I will hear a weird light pop in the cab and it will puff white smoke, not all the time, just randomly. Anyone have this before? Is it a Head Gasket?

Doesnt sound like a HG. The HG are self healing so at idle it wont leak. Just under load or heavy load. With the EGR delete, did you just install plates or did you remove the valve as well?

Its a sinister diesel delete kit, I had a local shop do a block test and they are getting exhaust gas even at idle. I didn't do the delete (worded first post wrong) a local shop did it for me, so I am unsure on the valve. I also am getting white smoke when I give it gas, but not all the time. If it isn't the head gasket what else could it be? Heads? Thanks

It runs fine otherwise, starts right up and sounds great. Any advice on what to look for to see if it was done incorrectly?

Spread the bottom cooler and exhaust flange towards the back of the engine on the driverside. You will have to pull the inner fender well to make it easier. If there is coolant in the cooler something is a miss.

Its the flange just above the bright spot. Can be a bitch to get to. There should be a small plate between the two faces that is a 1/8" thick. If they did a full delete then the cooler will be MIA. If thats the case... Likely HGs.
