A customer of mine ran a 3250 with stock fuel and a 71 slipped it anything over 3/4 throttle. I've also driven trucks with a 38 and 32 series, there's a HUGE difference between them, but between the 3600/3250 is unnoticeable. Both have a better pedal feel than a stock clutch, with smooth engagement. The 3800 makes it harder to shift faster, anyone whose driven one can tell you that, they are also much louder, with a stiff pedal. Putting one in a fairly stock truck is absolutely pointless, it's like throwing huge injectors in a 12v, you may have the biggest and baddest parts, but you've accomplished nothing except having a "biggest and baddest complex" Please note. This is also based on southbends NEWER design 3600 clutch, aka the one you would get if you ordered a new one from them right now.
