I have a 2010 f250 with the 6.4l. i have a little under 17,000 miles. since i have learned how it operates when going to regen i really want to save my engine from that kind of abuse. obviously a dpf delete will void my warranty, then again what good is a warranty if after it expires the engine has catastophic failure due to the damage that occured during the warranty period. somehow over heating the turbos and washing the #7&8 cylinders with fuel seems like a bad idea to me. what is the best way of going about deleteing the dpf and should i block off the egr as well. not looking for a massive power increase just reliability and long engine life. at least until its paid off. thanks for any help in advance.

i would do the dpf delete pipe and egr blocks for the moment. easy to take off if needed also.

thats what i am afraid of. i dont want to void the warranty. i guess i am going to have to see if i can find a dealer that will overlook it.

DPF delete, EGR delete, tuner. Most, if not all, of the tuners out there give you the option to "Return to Stock" if you need to go to the dealer. But you would also have to reinstall the DPF and remove the EGR block off plates.

Its a lot of work, but its an option.
