6.4l Manual Transmission Power Upgrade???

Had a deal of a lifetime come along this weekend on a 08 6.4l 6SP CC LB with 60k miles on her.

I havent bought it yet but I'm very close to it.

What if anything do I need know when it comes to tune this truck?

I have done other Automatic 6.4l but never a 6sp. Reason I'm asking I thought I remember reading somewhere that the tunes for the Manual trucks are not up to par when it comes to driveablty.

Thought I also heard something about cruise not working.

Any truth to this? Or will it run just like an Auto truck with out the shift stradgy.

The min I buy this truck its getting all delete done including full egr and a mild tune.

I realize I will have to go with a different clutch down the road.

Not true. Everything will work just like an auto truck. Just no shift stragety. Mines been tuned for 40k and still everything works. U can run up to a 210 tune with no problems. The 250 tune gets touchy (Meaning the clutch dont like it very much). I smoked my clutch daily driving on the 250 then it was time to upgrade to a South Bend. Now i will be pushing that to its limits here in the next couple of weeks :evil
