Title says it all. I know "smoke limitation fuel limit Transient/Steady state tables" control lbf on the 6.4 but the 6.7 is a whole different story say if I started with a base tune with *3 what tables will in need to adjust to make it *0 lbf? Thanks fellas

Can't recall the exact name but it was one of the table(s) that is labeled smoke limitation or something like that. All I did was set lbf at 1 then I flashed the tune, downloaded it to the sd card and uploaded to the computer. Obviously label that tune lbf 1 or something. Then I put the card back in the mini flashed a tune again except set the lbf at 5. Then export that one to the computer and compare files.

Yea smoking is stupid :blah:, I set that entire table(s) to 0 and it smokes a little more off a quick stab of the throttle but nothing like a 6.4 if thats what your looking for. Don't take my word for it but I'm pretty certain those tables are just a reference for smoke control. Basically each cell is the lambda ratio, the lower the lambda the more potential for smoke. The fueling in a 6.7 is a lot more gradual along with the quick spool of the sst turbo that no real smoke is made. These box tunes are pretty gutless now to save these turbos, its like you have a massive trailer on when you give it compared to a 6.4. At least thats my opinion, good luck.

I'm trying to set up a tune that is basically smoke free. I don't like how the canned tunes smoke when you stab on the throttle. Its a waste of fuel and excess EGTS. That I don't need LOL.

Ha. Just run the lowest lbf then. Mine literally had no smoke hardly at all on the lowest lbf.
