Did a 6" procomp on my 08 CC SB 4x4 and now ive got a vibration from about 5 to 15 MPH then its gone. Worse the harder i take off. Not near as bad in 4 wheel drive. Only thing i can figure is maybe the pinion angle?? Do any of you run a carrier bering spacer in your rear drive line?

I don't have an 08 but when my truck was still lifted it did not have a spacer. My kit was also a 6 inch Pro comp kit.

The general rule of thumb is 1/4" per 1" of lift. If its happening under hard acceleration, it may be partly axle wrap. No amount of adjustment to the carrier bearing will fix axle wrap if thats whats going on.

I had a 1.5" spacer on my last truck and it had a 6" lift and it was perfect with no vibration.

Ill have to try a 1.5" spacer then. I know its not axle wrap, as I have ladder bars. It vibrates even under the slightest accel but worse with a harder take off. Just wondering if the spacer was forgotton or what...

A lot of kits don't come with the spacer...you have to order it separately usually which is pretty dumb IMO. I only have a 2" lift and still shimmed it down a half inch

Don't spend money on a spacer, I just used a piece of 1.5" square steel tubing and drilled two holes in it and got longer bolts, worked perfectly
