alright guys, im wanting to put a 6637 on my truck but don't really know where to get the parts? (hose wise and such already got the filter-have had it for months

have looked on intakeshoses.com or something and am pretty sure they have the right size hoses and such

the motor in my truck is out of an E350 van not a truck, have read that some of the hoses wont work on the E series motors, any links/help would be greatly appreciated .

Do a CCV delete and route a 3/4 inch hose along the frame all the way to the back. Find a junked super duty intake, hose clamp is on it, take the plastic top of, clamp a 4in pipe, clamp a NAPA 6637 (Dont get wix, they absorb water, I made that mistake) onto the pipe, filter minder and air temp sensor get zip tied to the fender or filter.

I believe the NAPA one IS Wix. The Donaldson one is the one you want that is "Water resistant."

Try an exhaust shop with a clean spare tube and run a rubber clamp like the rest of the stock turbo setup.
I Dont know what you have available where you are. Just find something that will seal. Last thing you want is to be dusting a motor/turbo.

I used a 45* mandrel bent piece of 4" ss exhaust, makes it look a lot nicer. On our work truck I just took the stock air box off and stuck a piece of 4" ss exhaust into the stock intake tube and clamped the filter on the other end, there is enough flex in the stock tube to put the filter where it needs to be. I am not fimiliar with an e series motor, so not sure if that is all possible.

One thing I would highly reccomend is to use a t style hose clamp vs. a regular hose clamp to clamp the filter to the pipe, or whatever you may use. A regular hose clamp just doesn't seal it tight enough for me.

Another route you could go would be to use a piece of pvc pipe, lots of options there and readily available just about anywhere, just not as nice looking. Just a thought.
