6r140 2wd trans vs 4x4

Havent had the chance to get up under a 6.7 2wd with the 6r in it yet, Didford stay smart like they did with the 5r and make the 6r trans the same in both 4x4 and 2x4 with a removable flange.

Kinda eye balling a truck that is a long way away but its 2wd which i am cool with if i can slap a transfer case on it and slide an axle from inventory under the front

Digging up an old thread here but by the picture I'm going with no. Can anyone confirm? I sold my 08 and am looking at a new body style and 2wd are SO much cheaper it's tempting to give this a shot.

I don't believe the trans cases change at all. The transfer case just bolts to the back of it.

Yes t-case just bolts on.
