7.3 1997 problem

I have a 97 f250 PSD. Truck idles rough until it's warm. Anything above 1500 rpms. It skips. It's weird. Same thing if it's in drive. Can get above 20 miles per hour before the rpms rise and starts to stall and skip. I think it maybe a bad CPS. Any thoughts?

Possibly a bad uvch check your connections going into the valve cover harness
