7.3 boost question

I have a 96 7.3 with Baby swamps and 6 pos chip,I have read that the 7.3 defuels at 30 psi,now my question is will it always defuel at 30psi or does the chip allow say 35psi without issue,or do I need a boost fooler?

I think it defuels at 24psi. I believe you can either get the chip to fool the MAP sensor or you can get the boost fooler. Do you have gauges? I'm not even sure if the stock turbo will get up past 30psi. It may come apart at 35psi haha. Just be careful.

It depends on who's tunes you are running wether you require a fooler or not.

Exactly, with some tuners you need the boost fooler, others you don't need 1. I'd call your tuner an ask them personally

yes I have gauges and it will go to 35 psi,but I try not to do it,
I got my injectors a chip from swamps,i will email them
