7.3 burning oil

Got my girl to video the truck smoking. Even with compression all within 5% at 375 on average on all cylinders, and truck passes engine pressure test. Smokes when warm or cold but more when it idles a bit. On take off under normal acceleration and all others. It burns around 4 quarts every 1200 to 1500 miles. Roughly 45k on rebuild and I have been given run around since day I brought it home. Have been in contact with builder and he is suppose to be setting up a window in early Jan after holidays for me to drive the 6 hr to drop it off to him. I crossing my fingers he is going to make right on his word. In an email he stated he is going to make this right at no cost to me, just have to get it to him.

I would think that if its the seals allowing that much oil through, the valve would have to be missing too... thats a lot of freaking oil to lose!


Op, any oil out th tail pipe?

38r has only 25k on it or so. no oil out tailpipe. two different sets of known good injectors and same issue. also same issue when stock turbo was in.
