Hey guys I have been considering on doing a set of compounds on my 97 f250. I already have the SD set up with the GTP38r and I was considering running a GT4202 for the low pressure. I was considering running 238/80 injectors for fuel. I know the 38r will have to be gated and that comes to my next question what gate should I run? Please don't bash me I am just asking for info on this, I am also not looking for a million horsepower just a fun toy and occasional tow pig. Thanks for your help!

42 is too small. PR would put your heads into the hood trying to make it efficient in front of a 38R. As a single it's sized alright, as a first stage it can't move enough air at a low pr. Need to go bigger. 88 to 90+mm. Tried and true.

Hopefully Charles will chime in he has an overload of good info on this subject. It would be worth your time to search around other threads and read what others have already tried to learn from their trials and errors.

On edit: nvm speak of the devil....

what size injectors would you suggest I run then with a 88 to 90mm turbo, I am not dead set on the injectors I just have a set and I was considering running them but if I need something else to make the set up operate properly I am all for it. That's why I am here is to get options and opinions on this.

What about running a S362 with a 1.10 housing for my high pressure turbo and a S480 with a 1.25 housing for my Low pressure with 300/200 injectors?

Why not a 66/88 setup? 7.3s don't struggle to spool turbos, all the compounds you've mentioned so far are on the really small side for a 7.3.
