7.3l upgrade ideas

i know the 7.3 is not the best for speed but you know run with it. i wanna hears some ideas anything yall feel like posting gear ratios ect... and also has anyone tuned there idm and wanna know how it worked out for them

What do you have done to the truck? Is it bone stock?

Start with 3 things: intake, exhaust, and regulated return fuel system.

Then I would go with gauges, chip, turbo, injectors.

From there you are only limited by the depth of your pockets.

I like to get my 7.3s to 400 ish hp I like bellowed up pies with a 38r and a set of 160/100 or 160/30s then a frx for fuel side mods and a clutch to hold it. I've built bigger higher hp builds but for the money spent and parts broken 400 is cheap fun and reliable.! No big trans build required and no need for studs, springs, full reg return, or any of the other supporting mods you'll need to run the bigger sticks. I found that at 500 hp I was breaking things left and right and cost a lot more to get it there in the first place!
