8 in. obs lift

i have a crew cab long bed obs diesel that i bought with an 8 inch lift on it. i have no idea what lift it is but all the shocks broke where the reservior hose connects to body of shock. it rides terrible. does anybody have input on who makes shocks for a 8 inch lift.
